Celebrate Prom, But Make It Purim with us at Emanuel Congregation on Saturday, February 28!It's time to party like it's 473 B.C.E! This 21+ event promises a night of music, dance, and communal connection!
Featuring a live DJ, a photobooth, and a raffle set under the backdrop of an Adult Prom Night, let's turn the clocks back and dance the night away!
Emanuel Women's Retreat March 6-8, 2026
Spend a magical Shabbat weekend of rest and renewal at OSRUI in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin! Our annual Women’s Retreat, held at our beloved summer camp Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute (about 2.5 hours from Chicago), takes place Friday, March 6 to Sunday, March 8, 2026. The program begins at 6:30 pm on Friday and concludes at 12:30 pm on Sunday—please let us know if you expect to arrive late.
Over the course of the weekend, you’ll connect with friends old and new while immersing yourself in study, song, and warm companionship. Those who completed the early “Save Me a Room” RSVP in 2025 will receive a discount code to reflect their prepayment. Contact Noah at Info@emanuelcong.org to confirm if you qualify for this discount.

Unpacking Torah
Join Cantor Shelly for an engaging journey into some of the Torah’s most challenging and thought-provoking parashot.
Together, we will wrestle with difficult texts, uncover layers of meaning, and explore how these ancient teachings continue to speak to the moral, spiritual, and personal questions we face today.
Whether you are new to Torah study or a seasoned learner, this class invites you to bring your curiosity, your questions, and your voice to the conversation.

JLaB Enrollment 2025-26
JLaB enrollment for the 2025–2026 school year has officially begun—and whether or not you have a student of your own, you can still help us grow!
If you refer a new family to JLaB and they become full members of Emanuel Congregation, you’ll receive a $200 credit as a thank-you. It’s a meaningful way to support Jewish learning, strengthen our community, and share what makes Emanuel so special.
